Here's why T-Golf® is the Correct Way to teach the Golf Swing!

IN ORDER TO COME UP WITH A SOLUTION WE NEEDED TO UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM!

SEVEN MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH LEARNING THE GOLF SWING:

  1. Bending at the waist causes a change in body balance. This creates the environment for reverse pivoting, swaying, arm lifting the club, head lifting and more.
  2. Bending at the waist disrupts normal body alignment. (The head, shoulders, waist, and legs are now out of alignment.)
  3. Looking at the ball on the ground causes the eyes' position to change from a normal "stereoscopic" perception to a "monoscopic" perception.
  4. The length of the club is difficult to control.
  5. The club face is small.
  6. The ball is as far from eye level as possible.
  7. The golf swing requires a "reflex" body action that uses a club to hit a stationary ball to a stationary target. The golfer must create this "reflex" action because the ball is not moving.

In effect, every new golfer has SEVEN very difficult problems to deal with and master ALL AT THE SAME TIME! Ball striking, balance and rotation are very difficult concepts from this "traditional" and awkward position. The "Swing Problems" listed above in (1) and more commence immediately in multiple combinations. Players become so confused that they can't hit a stationary ball. They become frustrated and humiliated and many eventually quit. T-Golf® successfully attacks these problems and progressively builds golfers with a simple and easy 4 step lesson. T-Golf's portability enables golf to be learned, taught and played everywhere!

This fundamentally sound and simple to deliver lesson establishes the proper foundation for the golf swing. The graduated tee system allows the student to progressively add "spine angle" (bending at the waist) into the swing. Watch how quickly T-Golf® builds the correct swing action!

SIMPLE FOUR STEP LESSON BELOW:

  1. Set up the telescoping tee (without a ball) and have the player brush the tee tip with a 15-inch backswing and a fifteen inch follow-through 5 times. Place a ball on the tee and have the player take a 15-inch backswing and a 15-inch follow-through. The player should hit the ball approximately 10-20 yards. We are working on making contact, club control and building confidence. Hit 5 balls in a row.
  2. Place a ball on the tee and ask the player to take the same 15-inch backswing and then point their stomach towards the target on the follow-through. Hit 5 balls in a row.
  3. Place a ball on the tee. Tell them to make the same 15-inch backswing, point their stomach towards the target and connect their right knee to their left knee by coming up on their right toe. The bottom of the right foot should be facing away from the target. Demonstrate the move to give the player a good visual. With T-Golf® most players execute this easily after just a few tries. (Some you may have to lift their right foot up.) Hit five balls in a row.
  4. Place the ball on the 20 inch tee. Ask the player to make the same three moves and add the follow-through by dropping the club over their left shoulder. Hit five balls this way. The swing has developed.
